About Us

Founded in 2004 in Pleasanton, California, Garden Creek Daycare has served an amazing host of families over the years from around Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and the surrounding areas.  Our mission has always been to provide a quality childcare experience that helps your child develop physically, socially, and emotionally.  Founded by Jayanti Dixit, a former educator, preschool teacher, and mother, we have helped a multitude of children gain the skills and knowledge they need to successfully navigate school and life outside of it.

A Word from Our Primary Childcare Provider
Hello, my name is Jayanti Dixit. I am the owner and primary caregiver at Garden Creek Day Care & Preschool of Pleasanton.  I am certified in CPR and I have three beautiful children of my own.  I opened Garden Creek Day Care & Preschool in Pleasanton because I love children, and after my 14 years as a teacher and childcare provider, I wanted to reach out and run a nurturing and loving family daycare in a home environment.  I take care of each child with love and devotion while guiding them to be stronger little people, how to share their ideas and problem-solve while working together.  I promise to nurture your child as if he or she were my own.

My Philosophy
All children deserve love, attention, and nurturing, and a safe environment allows children to explore and grow.  At Garden Creek Day Care & Preschool, children have hands-on learning experiences while having fun!  This then fosters age-appropriate development.  Positive reinforcement is an important ingredient for children to develop self-esteem and confidence.  Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning, and we provide that kind of atmosphere at Garden Creek Daycare.
At Garden Creek Day Care & Preschool we recognize that you have a difficult schedule and support parents the best we can. We recognize the importance of work, and the stress and demands placed on parents. We strive to make it easier on parents by giving them the knowledge that their children are in good hands.

My Mission
To provide reliable, top quality child care for 18 month – 5 year old children promoting social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of each child while providing a warm, caring, nurturing environment for the strong development of the powers of imagination and creativity.

Licensing Information
Garden Creek Day Care & Preschool is licensed by the State of California, Department of Health and Family Services.  We are licensed to care for no more than eight children at any one time and are inspected regularly to insure that we meet licensing standards.
